What is Jeanne Mayo’s National Youth Leaders’ Conference 2015 “ANTHEM”?

It is one of our nation’s most historic, transformational, and energizing leadership gatherings for youth and young adult ministry leaders. Her last national conference had representation from all 50 states and 3 continents. Once again, Jeanne will host this epic event in March of 2015 for both paid and volunteer youth leaders – in partnership with My Healthy Church.

NYLC FAQ’s

Who is this event for?

NYLC is for anyone and everyone who works with youth and young adults! It isn’t just for full-time, paid youth pastors. If you’re part-time, a volunteer, a small group leader, a worship leader, a spouse or just studying youth ministry, we have something for you!

I’d like to promote NYLC to people in my network. Where can I get promotional materials?

First, allow us to say, “Thank you!” We have worked hard to make this an experience of a lifetime. In the Promotion section of this website, we have provided downloadable videos, web banners, and brochures. Also, you will find fundraising letters and ideas there. Again, thanks so much for passing the word along.

Do you need volunteers?

Thanks for asking, but not at this time. We have been blessed with the Atlanta Leadership College team of 100+ wonderful young adults, in addition to volunteers from our home and partnering churches. We would, however, appreciate your prayers for the conference.

Does the conference venue, Bent Tree, have free Wi-Fi?

Bent Tree will not be offering free Wi-Fi during this conference.  However, there is excellent LTE coverage at Bent Tree, so cellular service will be easily accessible throughout the conference.

Is NYLC affiliated with any denomination?

NYLC is sponsored by Youth Leader’s Coach and My Healthy Church, but NYLC is not denominationally affiliated. Jeanne’s heart is to coach and mentor youth pastors and leaders from every possible Christian background. We also believe that the ground at the foot of the cross is level. We love that our speakers, guests and volunteers all come from widely different Christian affiliations and backgrounds.

That being said, the Word of God, is our non-negotiable standard and we believe that Jesus Christ alone is the entry-gate to heaven. Rest assured, knowing that we’ll major on our similarities and get a good taste of the diversity we’ll all experience in heaven one day.

I want to bring a group. Tell me what I need to know.

NYLC is an incredible experience to share with a team. It will catapult your leaders to new levels of unity and effectiveness while deeply impacting their hearts and personal lives. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to bring a group, so here is how we can help you out:

  • Reduced registration rates: We have several tiers of reduced rates for individuals and groups. The earlier you register, the more you can save! Check out our rates in the Pricing section of this website.
  • Lower prices on airfare, hotels and rental cars: Visit our Pricing and Travel section to see what options are available.
  • Promotional Materials: Need ways to get the word out? Want some help casting vision to your team? Head over to our Promotion page and download some videos, web banners and printable brochures.
  • Fundraising Ideas: Financing the trip for your entire team is now easier than you might think! Also on our Promotion page, you will find fundraising ideas and information to make this trip a reality. We recommend you use these tools to help cast vision to anybody who may want to pour into your youth ministry by supporting your trip to NYLC.

More questions? Contact Kate Gregory at 855-855-1831 if we can assist in any other way.

May I bring my children?

We want this to be a valuable time of refreshment and rejuvenation for everyone, so we ask that you do not bring children to NYLC. We understand that some parents may need to bring their newborn infants, so we will make exceptions in these cases. We simply ask that you respect others around you, especially if/when your young one becomes distracting (i.e., please be prepared to leave sessions if you need to attend to a fussy baby). A nursery area will be open, but you will need to provide all of your baby’s care and supplies.

Is there assigned seating for the conference?

No. If you would like to sit together as a group, please arrive early. All doors open 30 minutes prior to each session.

What is the attire for the conference?

Event attire is casual.

What will the weather be like?

Dallas usually sees highs in the mid-60s and the lows in the mid-40s in March. While skies are typically sunny, there is a high probability of isolated showers in the spring. As the date for our event draws near, check weather.com (using zip code 75007) for the local forecast.

If I have any other questions, who can I contact?
